"A" beautiful mommy

Today we had a fantastic urban session with one beautiful mom-to-be. "A" and I used to work together and it was so fun to see her now as a glowing, expectant mommy. We couldn't have asked for a more willing and comfortable person in front of the camera. She was an absolute natural. It makes being behind the camera that much easier, and a lot more fun! The hardest part was definitely hitting delete on some of the images because they were all so great. It's been a tough one to narrow down! Smiley Miss "K"

We went down to Iowa last weekend to see some friends from college and I got to shoot one of their little girls, "K". She is probably the smiliest baby I know, so needless to say, there are many with her smiling! Maybe she just loved the wardrobe and the props we had for her :)

Cycling for a Cure!!!

This morning I had the distinct pleasure of snapping a few shots of a fantastic group of very inspiring people. This group of cyclists spent the morning at ANW spreading hope to patients battling with cancer. The cyclists in the group have either battled cancer (some are even currently batting cancer themselves!!!), have loved ones going through cancer or have lost them to this saddening disease. There were a few tears shed this morning but the over-all message definitely remained that of HOPE!

"S" is for....

"S" is for...snapping shots of a super-sweet, silly, smiley, stinker face (we'll let you guess which photo that one is), on a splendid morning. We had a great morning photographing "S" for her 1 year session. She was cute as can be and full of personality. Hopefully we were able to adequately capture a little bit of her fun, good nature during the session. Gotta love a spunky kid with big blues! And how cute are those little toes...could just gobble them up. Thanks for a fun morning S and M.

Baby "G" and the "K" family

Sonja and I had the great pleasure to snap a few shots of Baby "G", the latest and greatest addition to my neighbor's household. He was very alert and bright eyed during his debut photo session.
