It has been a couple years since we've done pictures for this family, so it was great to see them again! Even though we see them regularly at our church, it's always fun to see them outside of the "norm" and capture them on camera :) Thanks for a fun session, "R" family! Always great to see you...

For those of you that have waited patiently....
...and for those of you who haven't been all that patient. The wait for the sneak peeks is finally over! That means we are that much closer to showing you your full galleries. By 12 o'clock that day, we had taken over 1700 photos (largely due to Jen...a chronic shutter happy photographer)!! Yikes! That's a lot of great photos that we've sorted through in the last 10 days.
Thanks again to all the wonderful families that participated in our annual Fall Mini-Sessions. The day was perfect, the rain cooperated until the very last minute, and it was huge success in our opinion. Just think of all of you that will have beautiful photos hanging on everyone's refrigerators this Christmas :) We look forward to seeing what you do with your families photos!

baby "r"
Remember this sweet family?? They added this sweet baby boy to their family, and at 12 days old, he did just great for his session. Got some super sleepy ones, some super sweet ones with his big sister, and a super family shot! Who know playing peek a boo with her blankie would get such a great smile out of sweet little "e"! Thanks for letting us capture your new family of 4!

A Perfect Backdrop
I know what you are thinking...2 blog posts in less than 24 hours! It's crazy, I know :) Hopefully there will be many more blog posts to come in the next few weeks!
I had a great time with this family, just like I always do. They are the fabulous owners of a property we've used several times for other shoots we've done (not to mention their daughter-in-law is one of my best friends from college!) so it was great to be able to do their own family pics in this beautiful fall we've been having! Thanks for your generosity in letting us use your property for a perfect backdrop for so many of our photos! We always love spending time out there!

Baby "P"
"P" might have been the easiest baby to photograph that I've ever had. I don't think I heard one peep out of her the entire session until it was time to eat. So content and easy going. She was really strong for being a few weeks early too...held the first pose all by herself...no composite here :) Must be her relaxed and wonderful parents. I love the expressions in the photos of them holding her. My favorite part about newborn sessions is hands-down seeing, feeling, and capturing the way new parents look at their little bundle of wonderfulness. Brings me back to how I felt with each of mine.
Without further adieu...here is little "P".

The "M" family
We met the "M" family for a great family session at Loring Park. We just adore this location. "B" was a great little model and was full of great smiles! We had a great time with you guys, thanks for a fun morning!

Doubly cute!!
Meet this adorable set of 1 year old twins. We had a great session exploring the park with these darling little ladies! We love seeing each of their little personalities, each very different, but equally sweet.
Thanks for a fun day "S" family!

All together...
Since this family only gets to be all together once, maybe twice a year, it was only fitting that we document the one time they are all together this year! I have known this family for...let's see...about 20 years now! You've seen some of them on our blog several times before, so it was so fun to get to capture their precious family time that they so look forward to. Hope you enjoy your little glimpse :)
