Senior "K"

When we are gearing up in the days before a photo shoot, you can usually hear us saying "as long as it's not raining, we'll be fine!"  Well, I now will add to that "...and the wind is not blowing like a typhoon!"  We had quite the windy day for "K's" senior photos, but she was such a great sport!  We managed to a get a few in the open field where her hair was not completely covering her face, but then we headed down to one of our favorite spots by the river and had a great rest of her shoot!  Thanks for being so fun to work with "K" and letting us capture this "once in a lifetime" time for you :)  Oh, and the ones with your sister...LOVE!  I hope you like them too!

Senior "B"

We had a perfect day for shooting a couple weeks ago and had a great time with this senior!  We love shooting seniors for a lot of reasons...they do what we ask, they don't run away from the camera, and we get to capture a very important milestone in their lives!  Thanks, "B" for being such a great client and for allowing us to capture you as you start your senior year!

Doubly cute!!

Meet this adorable set of 1 year old twins. We had a great session exploring the park with these darling little ladies!  We love seeing each of their little personalities, each very different, but equally sweet.

It's your birthday...

This little lady turned 1!  Such a big milestone in a little ones life, and it is so fun to document it and capture their little personalities at this stage!  Miss "S" has been our client since she was in her mama's belly, so it has been so fun to watch her grow over this past year!  They change and learn so much!  We hope you had a GREAT first birthday miss "S"!  So glad we could share in your fantastic cake smash!  Hope to see you again as you continue to grow!

Chocolate River...

Little miss "L" was such a fun session.  She just had her big 3rd birthday, so we headed out to one of our favorite locations for a fun-filled afternoon!  "L" was fun, energetic, spunky, and quite funny!  When we got down to the river she looked at it and promptly said "look...a chocolate river!"  Guess that tells you how dirty the river really was, but if you look in one of the pictures below...it does indeed look like a chocolate river!  And what kid wouldn't love that?! :)  Thanks for a fun session "L"!  It was so fun capturing you and your sweet spirit!

Senior "L"

This beautiful Centennial senior is a daughter of one of my co-workers (at my "real" job :).  "L"  wasn't hard to photograph, that's for sure.  Just a natural in front of the camera. just for fun...

When we do couples, it's usually for an engagement or part of a bigger family session.  But this time around, we got to do this lovely couple who are coming up on 2 years of marriage...just because!  How fun is that?!  More couple should do this!  The snowy backdrop provided us for some stunning and classic black and white images. Call off the search parties!

Call off the search parties! We've been found again. Around the holidays we've made a commitment to take a break from "work" and spend as much time with our families as possible. We've also been doing a little dreaming and planning about what we want J|S Photography to look like in this next year. Now if we can just find the time to do all that we'd like...let's just say a 4, 2-3 year olds, a 1 year old and an ALMOST 1 year old keep us a little busy! Check back for a few photos of our little munchkins...we took a little "adventure" this morning with them. But now we are back to shooting and are continuing the winter (and it definitely was winterish today) season with a beautiful couple awaiting their first little one. Some of you MN folk, may have issue with a few of the photos below...but I had to include them for you "J" :)

 

Can't wait to meet her "R "and "J"!!  Enjoy these last months of this stage of your parenting journey and we'll see you sooner than you will believe.
